Measurement setup - antenna height, count of epochs, point name and code, etc.

On the OPTIONS tab, select MEASUREMENT SETTINGS
measurement setup QG
or on the MEASUREMENTS tab, select setup.png
Measurement mode - select the preferred measurement mode from the drop-down list:
  • Averaged - coordinates averaged from measuring a specific number of measurement epochs (>1).
  • Single - coordinates from the measurement of a single measurement epoch.
  • Tracking - a single measurement of consecutive points taken automatically after a defined distance from the last picket. Instead of the number of epochs, define the minimum distance after which the next measurement is to be performed. After the first measurement is initiated in the map window, the programme will record successive pickets until the measurement is stopped manually.

Point name - enter the initial or consecutive number of the measurement point in the text field. Alternatively, you can use the suggested or previously used numbering by tapping the appropriate icon to the right of the text box. Touching the icon with the ellipsis will give access to a wider list of suggested numbering, where you can additionally clear the numbering history.

Point code - in the text box you can code or any description of the point.

Antenna height - enter the height of the antenna (pole) in the text box, or select one of the suggested previously used heights by tapping the appropriate icon next to the text box.

Count of epochs - from the drop-down list, select the value corresponding to the preferred minimum number of measurement epochs required to record a single point when measuring in Averaged measurement mode. In Tracking measurement mode, the Minimum distance parameter appears in place of the Count of epochs parameter.
