What is the function of a pendrive in a portable (USB) licence?

The pendrive serves as a key necessary to use the software. When you activate the licence at the first time (when typing the licence key) our licence server remembers the pendrive and ascribes it to the licence. To run the software you will need to connect the pendrive to the equipment on which you intend to use the software. Remember that we do not provide you with the pendrive, you have to use your own.
